GREETING | Maulidir Rasul 1429 Hijrah
Today, most major Islamic regions are celebrating the Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon Him). Celebrated every 12 Rabiulawal of the Islamic (Hijrah) Calendar.
As usual, in Brunei, the national celebration were held at the Taman Omar Ali Saifuddien, BSB.

SALAM | Nuzul Al-Quran ...
.. 17 Ramadhan marks the commemoration of the first revelation of Al-Quran to Prophet Muhammad S.A.W. when he was 40 years old ....
.. the first verse recited by the Archangel Jibril a.s. revealed to Prophet Muhammad was "Iqra' " .. meaning "Read" ... i.e. "Read! In the Name of your Lord, Who has created. He has created man from something that clings. Read! And your Lord is the Most Generous. Who has taught (the writing) by the pen. He has taught man that which he knew not."(Surah al-‘alaq:1-5)
....Sayidina Ali karramallahu wajhah once said: There are three advantages of knowledge over wealth........ First, knowledge will take care of us, while we got to take care of our wealth....... Second, knowledge will increase if we share it, while our wealth will decrease if we share it with others............ Third, knowledge cannot be stolen, while wealth can......

....... Dalam sejarah kehidupan Nabi SAW ayat al-Quran yang mula-mula diturunkan Allah kepada Nabi Muhammad SAW melalui perantaraan malaikat Jibrail ialahlima

WORLD | Ramadhan ...
....~.... Marhabban .. Ahlan Wahsahlan Ya Ramadhan .... ~
... in our "normal" calendar ... the date changes everytime the clock is at 0000 Hours ... where as .. in the Islamic calendar ... the date changes during Maghrib .. which is... more or less.. during sunset ...
... so this evening will mark the 1st night of the Terawih prayers in Brunei .. and for other muslims in many part of the world ....

... so marking the start of the fasting month .. I'd like to seek forgiveness from you all... if perhaps .. some of my posts might be a lil be controversional or .. something there about ... or whatever reason it may be ....

... if u think about it ... the some of the beauty of Fasting are... it can help u to diet .... it can make you feel how some unfortunate people are living without inadequate diet ...
... if u actually follow the routine.... Sahur (sohur) ... Sungkai (Iftar) ... Terawih prayers ... eating moderately .... starting off with dates ... ( encourage to eat in odd numbers ... preferably 7 dates .. ) ... insya Allah ... you'll have a healthy lifestyle ....
... Ramadhan .. is the time of reflection of oneself .... being close with the creator ... time for forgiveness.... time for giving .... giving a lil bit of your earning... to be given to the orphanage ... to the needies.... spread the wealth ....
