... braving the rain ... and despite the slippery pavement ....... there's a saying in Malay .... "sediakan payung sebelum hujan" .... (prepare your umbrella before it rains) ..... I guess... this is true in this case .... but the Malay proverb actually means that ... you should be prepared ... if not much ... at least gain few knowledge ... or to be prepared ... in case something happens ....
... I've always posted photo about the modern.... city-life... or landscape.... or man-made wonders.... or something thereabout ....... hmmm.. I guess.. it is about time for me to get closer to nature ....... Brunei ... the Heart of Borneo .. as it is also known as.. are rich in wide variety of flora and fauna ... some of the species found in Brunei are only unique to Brunei... ... and the eco-system is such that .. within a ten metre square area .... one can find hundreds.. if not thousand... species of different breed.....

... if one just take a look around ... one need not go far to see the beauty of God's creation ......... even in Brunei ... the landscape.... the seascape ... the beautiful nature's architectural calamity ..... can be very breathtaking .... ... makes one wonder.... thankful ... of what we have now ..... ........ the beautiful thing do still comes for free....... free for you to see...... free for you to breathe ..... so ... take good care of our natural ecosystem ...
... sunset at one of the local beaches in Brunei ....Today's Note: Spiritual Journal .... especially during the month of Ramadhan .... one usually tend to be closer to himself .... reading more of the Holy Book .. Al-Quran ... .. so what u can do is this ...... get a notebook .. then .. while you are reading the Quran .. or any other religious Kitab ... jot down what interest you ... every now and then .... you will come across a verse .. or a qoute which may be of an interest to u ... something that u can reflect to .... something which can motivate you .. .bring u up when u r down ... or just something which is unexplainably simply plain beautiful ....... so fill those journal with those newly found interest ....

Ahlan Wahsahlan Ya Ramadhan .... ~... in our "normal" calendar ... the date changes everytime the clock is at 0000 Hours ... where as .. in the Islamic calendar ... the date changes during Maghrib .. which is... more or less.. during sunset ...... so this evening will mark the 1st night of the Terawih prayers in Brunei .. and for other muslims in many part of the world ....

I'd like to seek forgiveness from you all... if perhaps .. some of my posts might be a lil be controversional or .. something there about ... or whatever reason it may be .... Thought of the Day ... ... if u think about it ... the some of the beauty of Fasting are... it can help u to diet .... it can make you feel how some unfortunate people are living without inadequate diet ...... if u actually follow the routine.... Sahur (sohur) ... Sungkai (Iftar) ... Terawih prayers ... eating moderately .... starting off with dates ... ( encourage to eat in odd numbers ... preferably 7 dates .. ) ... insya Allah ... you'll have a healthy lifestyle ....... Ramadhan .. is the time of reflection of oneself .... being close with the creator ... time for forgiveness.... time for giving .... giving a lil bit of your earning... to be given to the orphanage ... to the needies.... spread the wealth ....
... Alone .... ... being alone ... some find it confining ..... some find it fulfilling ..... some find it sad........ alone ... facing the time ...... sad time... happy time ....... alone .... reminicing those loved one ..... cherishing those wonderful memories ....... dropping tears to those tragic one ....... being alone when u r old ... ... no family nor friend to share your laughter or tears ..... but still..... better old and alone ... than .... not to reach old .... .... yet as they said ...... everybody needs a little time away ... .... but what matter most is ...... thou alone ... but not lonely ....... whilst some are lonely because ............they build walls instead of bridges....... alone in the busy hectic world ....... one might feel alone ... ... but ... one should remember....... God is still with us..... .. hence... we are never left alone .....GF

... alone in the beach .... watching the waves wrestling with the shore .... .. listening to the trembling of the waves...... .... feeling the sea breeze caressing your face ..... ... smelling the fresh clean Oxygen .... the unpolluted air ............ strumming the string of the guitar melancholicly ..... ......... cherishing those sweet .. and not so sweet moment .... yet .. still can bring a smile to your face .... or perhaps ... without realising .... droping a tear or two .... from the watery eyes ..... perhaps ... the tears of joy ... or tears or sadness... nevertheless..... just being there..... feeling the moment ..... could really make one .... hmmmm....... ;)

... knowledge by experience is by far the most "expensive" lessons .... one might study from a reputable college... but what we study is usually .. just for the sake of passing the exam.... where as ... if one have experience something ... be it good or bad ... that for sure will always linger in our memory til.... whenever ....... .... looking ahead to the future .... yet ... never forget the past ... thou ... one should never cling to the past .... otherwise... you will never get pass the present to get to the future .... ..... aim at nothing ... and for sure ... you will get it ..... 
A respectable veteran, sitting alone at the park, having a good quality time for himself, reflecting the past, enjoying the present, thinking of the beautiful world ahead........ with that ... I'll leave u to think about this .... ........ an idiot .. repeats his mistakes ..... a smart man .... learns from his mistakes ...... but .... a genius ....learns .. from the mistakes of others ..... ;)
